Residents V-E Day Trip
Mountvale Residents reminiscence V-E Day and the Belfast Blitz was spent at the Belfast War Museum last week, During the tour they viewed a video which included Belfast during World War 2 showing the destruction which the air raids left, ruins of houses and business and the street parties that were held throughout Northern Ireland celebrating V -E Day
The residents thoroughly enjoyed the tour, where they discussed and viewed old time toys, food rationing and were shown attire which both the British and American Military wore during the War.
